About This Course

This program trains operators, maintenance technicians, and installation/commissioning staff to safely run and maintain a packaged ("pre-pac") fire-water pump system. The heart of the system is a Patterson 8x6 MI horizontal split-case fire pump driven by a Clarke JU diesel engine, supported by a small Grundfos CR jockey pump. Two Firetrol controllers automate the whole assembly, and a set of valves and accessories complete the skid.
